What are Squishies

What are Squishies?First of all, they are also sometimes known as Sqwishies. Note the spelling difference. The latest fad (as of fall 2010) making its way through certain elementary school classes is Squishies. These are pencil toppers made of soft, pliable plastic. A pencil topper is a little rubber or plastic thingy with a hole in the bottom of it. The eraser-end of the pencil sticks into the hole and the object is simply meant as a decoration. I can’t explain why Squishies are suddenly so popular. The Squishy collection consists of at least 25 soft pencil toppers shaped and colored like (mostly) barnyard animals. There are also other exotic animals in the collection like whales and penguins. SquishiesRule.com Alyssa Says Squishies Rule!
