This is a picture of a girl walking past a tree covered in spider webs!!! There has been flooding in this area, and the spiders escaped the flood waters by climbing trees. They have cocooned the trees in webs. People in the area say they have never witnessed this phenomenon, but the spiders have been keeping away the mosquitoes, thus reducing the risk of malaria.

Squishy Party Game Ideas!

Find the Squishy (Great for the Back Yard)
1. Hide some squishies, and let your guests find them. OR
2. Hide some squishies, and have your guests find them using clues you have prepared.
Squishy & Spoon Race

Who can run the fastest while keeping their Squishy balanced on a spoon?
Which Squishy Am I?

When your guests arrive, give them a party hat, but don’t let them see which squishy they are. Everyone sits in a circle, and one by one the guests try to guess which squishy they are by asking questions.
Guess the Squishy

Blindfold the player who selects a squishy from a bowl. They try to guess which squishy they are by asking questions.
Make Your Own Squishies
Use modeling clay to make your favorite squishy. Have an older brother or sister pick a winner.
Squishy Toss
See who can toss a squishy into a bucket from the furthest distance.


Pass the Squishy
Stand in a line, and pass a Plush Squishy from one person to the next. Oh, and you can’t use your hands!

Match Up the Squishies

This is the Concentration Game. Pick 18 of your favorite Squishies. Using heavy paper or card stock, print two pictures of each of the Squishies (36 cards). Mix them up and put them face side down. Each player gets two picks to try and find a pair. Winner is the one who makes the most matches.

Cake
1. Decorate your cake with an ark, and use clean squishies as decorations.
2. Make cupcakes, and decorate each with a different squishy.
3. Take a great photo of your Squishies at play, or create a drawing. Some bakeries can turn that into a photo for your cake.
